Summary
Workchain is currently recruiting for Class 1 Drivers Days and Nights for our client based in Rochdale. Pay Rate: £17 - £18 per hour depends on shiftKey Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate an HGV 1 vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.- Responsible for accurate completion of administrative tasks, including logbooks, delivery notes, and other relevant documentation.- Conduct routine vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and promptly report any faults or defects.- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with colleagues, customers, and the general public.- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.Qualifications Required:- Hold a valid HGV 1 license.- 2 years of experience asa Class 1 Driver- A good understanding of current transportation legislation and compliance requirements.- Ability to work efficiently and independently, managing time effectively to meet deadlines.- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.- A reliable and professional approach to work.To apply please call on 07514 610 730 ask for Greg.
