Job Purpose:
I am a young boy with non-verbal autism diagnosis and am looking for a PA who would support me with activities and provide respite. I enjoy cards, puzzles, books, interactive stories, walks and exploring outside as well as some time on the iPad. I communicate with the use of device, symbols and board. I need support with increasing independence and social skills.
Location: Thetford, IP24
Duties to include:
· Providing supervision as well as access to various activities I enjoy at home or in the community.
· Engaging me in play and supporting me in play and making sure I can be included in activities.
· Providing respite.
· Working closely with my parents, carers and sibling.
These duties may vary from day to day

Summary terms and conditions:
· The rate of pay for this position is £11.68 per hour
· Hours and times of work: 2 hours per week to be arranged flexibly
· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks
· This position requires the employee to complete free annual training: GDPR, Health and Safety, First Aid, Risk Assessment, Autism.
Post is subject to the following:
· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer
· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer
· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months
