JOB OPPORTUNITY – (JOB SHARE OPTIONAL)*** Bury, Greater Manchester
PA(s) [MALE ONLY] required to support male wheelchair user in all aspects of independent living in terms of personal care and daily activities. Hourly rate: £12.50, paid via PAYE. 5.6 weeks holiday p.a. pro rata, including bank holidays. [Hourly rate and holiday entitlement are as set by Bury Adult Social Care.] 37.5 hours core support a week to be delivered Monday to Friday, generally from 09:00 to 16:30, plus an average of 7.5 hours additional support a week, usually to be provided in the evening and/or at weekends, as and when required. On-the-job training provided. It is essential that any candidate is permitted to work in the UK, vaccinated/willing to be vaccinated against Covid-19, proficient in English, able to work flexibly, a driver [with a valid driving licence for use in the UK] and that they do not smoke while on duty.
