University Centre West Anglia is looking to appoint a science lecturer to plan and deliver a science curriculum. The successful candidate will be part of a team delivering innovative, high standard theoretical and practical sessions. You will teach on a range of courses which may include veterinary nursing degree, veterinary science access, bio veterinary science and veterinary nursing apprenticeships. You will be confident to deliver innovative, high standard theoretical and practical science sessions. You must hold a Science Degree and preferably a Masters Degree in a relevant subject. You will be confident to support students with their dissertations. You will oversee the Lab facilities at the campus. You must hold a relevant teaching qualification or be committed to obtaining one at level 5 (e.g. Diploma in Education/DTLLS/Cert Ed/PGCE), within the first 3 years of employment. You must hold a Level 2 English and Maths (GCSE A*-C/9-4) or equivalent or be willing to obtain within 18 months of employment.
