Our public sector client are currently looking for a User Researcher to join their team on a new contract.

Contract Length: End of March 2022
Location: Leeds – REMOTE

IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Candidate: £715.00 Umbrella/£527.48 PAYE

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications required:
• Experience in research equivalent to/ or educated to master’s level (or equivalent qualification).
• Experienced or qualification demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
• Evidence of continuous professional development.

Knowledge required:
• Experience of working with digital teams, especially designers and product managers.
• Working knowledge of the Government Digital Service (GDS) Standards.

Skills required:
• Substantial specialist knowledge of a range of research approaches including both quantitative and qualitative methodology.
• Experience of leading research within an agile multi- disciplinary product team to devise programmes of research.
• Proven ability to communicate confidently within the scope of the role’s responsibilities by using appropriate tools and language (this may be of a technical nature) to a varied audience of internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience of delivering research that has had a demonstrable positive influence on service and product design.
• Proven ability to direct others to undertake specified tasks by clearly determining roles and responsibilities, deliverables, milestones and limits for independent decision - making within agreed timescales.
• Skilled in the full lifecycle of research from designing research, recruiting, conducting research, analysing and communicating.

• Degree in HCI/Usability/Cognitive Psychology/Market Research or related. (Related degrees include degrees that included taught and practical research modules).
• Experience of working in the health sector / knowledge of the health sector.
• Experience of working on high-complexity, high-pace and pressurised programmes
