We have lived and breathed short stay for many years, our co-founders started as operators with city centre breaks in Nottingham and quickly scaled as managing agents with hundreds of units across The Midlands. Through years of dedication to perfecting our customer service team we become known for delivering excellence. Now we not only manage our own portfolio we also assist other short stay business owners across the UK.
We are rapidly expanding our portfolio of managed properties across the country and in particular within our base city of Nottingham. As a new and exciting start-up working in a luxury niche market, we are looking for a self-motivated and committed person to act as a sales and marketing assistant as part of our growing team.
The role will be working from home and involves working closely with the Director and Business Development Manager to create engaging content for a company's social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new digital marketing avenues and ways of connecting with audiences.
This role will require speaking to prospective clients, businesses and guests for market research and is focused on increasing our outreach as much as possible. Some face to face meetings with other Nottingham based staff, clients or site visits to our portfolio properties may be requested as long as Covid safeguards are in place.
The responsibilities for this role can be broken down into key results areas but the main focus is on updating our website and online presence through google ads SEOs, reviews etc. This will mean being responsible for the management of the company’s social media channels with a sole goal of increasing our existing social media presence.
In addition another key aspect of the role is being the face of our company and actively speaking with prospective guests and potential clients on the phone or via messenger. Due to the close overlap with the Business Development Manager you may also be asked to qualify new leads before handing over to the Sales department.
We are looking for a person with a creative flair who will lead the development of dynamic written, graphic, and video content. This will include promotional materials, ie.flyers, blogs, video showreels, etc. In addition to have a confident and professional telephone manager, any experience in call handling is extremely beneficial.
However, this creative personality will also need to work hand in hand with the technical knowledge to scheduled content to ensure a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits.
All the digital marketing will be reliant on regular and relevant postings which are optimized either by SEO or pay per click. Therefore, in addition to content itself it is an essential part of the role to analyse and report the data captured, including audience information / demographics / measurable success of existing and new social media projects. This record of data on the campaigns should then be fed into future marketing strategies.
The candidate must be up to date on emerging social media platforms and a proficient in using core social media channels (Facebook, twitter, hubspot, linked in etc)
Any formal qualifications in social Media & Marketing would be ideal. However, technology skills in graphic design or creative writing would also be useful to this role.
The candidate must be highly IT literate and this will be tested on interview.
As the role requires daily outreach and interaction with guests and clients, a confident speaker who likes to engage and build rapport with people is a must. Any telephone handling experience is a huge benefit.
As the role is primarily working from home we ask all candidates to only apply if they have a quiet space they are able to work from.
As the role relies on being the face of the company, strong communications skills and outstanding written and spoken English is a prerequisite.

The candidate in this role will be under the direct mentorship of the Director of the company, by working closely with this senior manager we hope that full comprehensive daily training will encourage quick uptake and integration into the team.
We expect this mentoring to continue throughout the position with the Director taking on full responsibility for the candidate, providing regular support, outline KPI targets and review. All staff are provided with weekly 1-2-1 and bi-annual appraisals with one of the senior management team. Additional training in terms of joining podcasts and zoom conferences run by third parties will also be included in the training plan.
The aim of this position is to build the revenue management and market research knowledge and skills of the new starter within the hospitality industry and to empower them to progress positively within the company.
