All Trade Property Services have an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a strong interest in becoming a tradesperson. If you’re looking to develop hands on experience as a construction technician this could be the role for you.

The Company:
All Trade Property Services is an established and experienced maintenance, construction, renovation and repair company specialising in providing all the trades and services required for homeowners, property managers and landlords in and around the Bristol area.

The Role:
General Construction Technician.

Key Responsibilities:
Working alongside out professional tradespeople you will be encouraged to start developing your skills from day 1. You will learn about site safety and how to operate within a site environment.

Working primarily alongside 2 of our senior technicians, in occupied and unoccupied buildings, you will have a fantastic opportunity to get involved with different trade activities from demolitions, groundworks, rendering, plastering, damp proofing, timber treatments, external wall insulation systems and various types of roofing.

The role will give you a tremendous insight into the various trades and a great foundation for a future trade career.

This job is also relevant for construction assistant, building technician, wet trades technician.

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in becoming a tradesperson, as well as being dedicated and professional in general. Physical fitness would also be beneficial as this is a strenuous job.

8am-4:30pm. Mon-Thu. 32 hours per week.

As well as offering on-the job training and valuable work experience, our training partner Kickstart Portal, will also be providing training to enhance the candidate’s employability. The training will be delivered and can be tracked by the employee and mentor via an online portal. The new employee will also be provided with a laptop to help support their training for use both inside and out of the workplace!

The young person will partake in an assessment at the start of the placement to identify their training requirements for employability purposes and specific training courses will be provided in areas which need strengthening. Training courses will be allocated to them throughout the six-month scheme and they retain access for a period afterwards as well. Each course comes with its own certificate. The employee will have access to over 500 training courses that can be used to support both this role and future roles as well as over 50 hours of employability skills training support.

The candidate will also receive video training and guided support on CV/cover letter writing and interview tips.

Lastly, the employee will be put in touch with a recruitment agency who will help them find work at the end of the placement should the employer decide not to continue with them in this role. The training will help support the employee with all challenges during and after the placement period.
