The correct segregation of waste materials is essential for the smooth and efficient processing of waste materials and commodities ensuring Enva has the greatest opportunity to maximise recyclable materials and avoid them going to landfill.
The Sector Executive will be provided with full training to understand and identify different waste streams, how each is processed and/or disposed of and how the materials need to be handled and segregated. Based out of our Linwood depot in Renfrewshire, the Sector Executive will work across all the sectors within which Enva operates (Construction, Property & FM, Education, Local Authority & Industrial and Manufacturing) to review incoming materials, identify contamination levels, and document and report key findings to internal stakeholders including Operations, Transport and Sales. They will advise Enva employees such as drivers and will also attend customer sites to educate customers on good recycling practice including the correct segregation of waste materials in line with legislation. They will advise Enva’s customers on the consequences to the customer in terms of processing and removal costs in the event of contamination. This will be presented via tailored toolbox talks either on site or virtually. They will attend customer sites to do audits of materials in their skips/bins and document and report their findings to the customer as well as the Account Manager Sector Head to whom they will report all their monthly activities and results.
They will need to have a professional manner and be able to communicate professionally and confidently at all levels. They will need to be comfortable using Microsoft Office especially PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel. Training will be provided on our inhouse, bespoke software systems.

8am to 5pm Monday to Friday Unpaid hour for lunch

Coaching and leadership by Account Manager Sector Head and Operations Manager.
On the job training by Operations Manager, Operations Supervisors and Account Manager Sector Heads.
Training will be provided on identifying different waste streams and the appropriate management of it, the technology used to capture, document and report contamination, and to deliver training to employees and customers.
Training will also be provided to support in customer facing and employee training as required.
The Gateway organisation Renfrewshire Council’s employability service; Invest in Renfrewshire will support the employer and the young person to assist with a smooth transition to the position, provide ongoing support in the job and work with the employers and the young people to sustain positions or find alternative opportunities beyond the 26 weeks of the Kickstart Scheme.
