Inside Connections CIC – Community Interest Company - was formed in 2017 to help ex offenders, care leavers and veterans achieve change in their lives. Our founder John Burton and many of our team having lived experience of being in prison or care – are committed to helping as many people into training and employment as possible.

We have many national and local employers on board, our training is focused on relevant skills that are in demand and our team - having lived experiences – are thinking ahead to anticipate ways to mentor and support our people through making change to their life.
About the role: Digital Marketing
We are looking for someone with a passion for everything online including social and PR (influencing) who wants to enter a career in digital marketing. Creative and comfortable in writing, taking photographs, videos and full of ideas about how to make an impact with social media. The role will make significant contribution in our commitment to help as many people as we can in changing their lives by:
Letting people know about the work we do – so that we attract more interest, applications and support. Designing campaigns to make the most of our new courses and job opportunities. Developing content for our stakeholders – mainly public sector and third sector organisations to create awareness and attract more interest and interest in working with us. Crafting impactful and thought provoking stories about the changes our people are making to their lives. Making sure our digital marketing drives more enquiries about our support; increases awareness with funding agencies such as DWP, job centres; MOJ; deepens engagement with audiences and enhances the reputation of Inside Connections CIC. And most of all to drive awareness of the readiness and commitment to change from the people we support
Main tasks in the role:
• Research topics in education, training, employment, reducing re-offending, young people in care – write , edit and publish articles on our app and website. Write compelling stories about the people we support. Write blog posts about the latest news, training and jobs opportunities. Edit and update existing web copy to keep it fresh, relevant and accurate. Research and write training course descriptions, flyers and posts. Create graphics and videos for the company’s website, app and social media profiles. Respond to interactions on social media including FB, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. Use web analytic tools to measure and report on impact of digital marketing activity. It is a proactive role – and requires being comfortable with email, phone communication and meeting with visitors to our community centre (in line with COVID-19 guidelines)

You will ideally have some experience in this field, be proficient in social media use and have a knowledge of using a range of channels to achieve tangible results.
Knowledge of SEO /PPC, google analytics and google add words in relation to driving traffic to our webpage is preferable.
To be successful in this role, you will have exceptional organisation skills, able to manage a varied workload and work as a team. You’ll be a great communicator and keen to learn new skills in this challenging but highly rewarding opportunity. We are looking for someone who is comfortable being a member of a team, is organised and works steadily from the beginning to the end of a task. Strong communication skills and IT fluency. Excellent organisational skills. Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
Accuracy and keeping information confidential are important to the people we work with and support. Proof reading and attention to detail. Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

4 days per week for 6.25 hours per day preferably 10am - 4.45pm (includes lunch break )
