The Luxe Company are a luxury lifestyle retailer of designer lingerie, swimwear, nightwear, bedding, home decor, furnishings, gifts & accessories. The successful candidate will be tasked with increasing the public awareness of The Luxe Company as both a business and a brand in itself though use of all available marketing channels including social media, blogging, print and email campaigns.
You will support with delivering marketing campaigns on social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and Mailchimp. Campaigns will need to be produced in line with the company’s in-house style and focused on particular area of the market, which mirror our online and high street retail operations. It is important to be able to listen to instruction and produce work according to guidelines.
Campaigns will be aimed at past customers (according to their buying preferences e.g. home wear buyers as opposed to swimwear buyers and so forth).
Campaigns to the wider and as yet untapped customer base will need to highlight new ranges as they become available for sale, online and in-store sales and promotions on existing ranges/products. As the social distancing restrictions arising from COVID decrease we plan to host in-store events and the role will also include supporting with the organisation and promotion of these. The post holder will be also tasked with generating unpaid external press coverage both pre and post event to increase awareness of both the event itself and the company as a whole.
This role can be entirely remote/ homeworking if required.

The role requires the ability to use a variety of social media platforms and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to use of imagery to promote the business in an appropriate way.

An understanding of the luxury goods sector in terms of its presentation and customer perception would be desirable.



Kickstart participants will be inducted to NYCC and supported by a nominated line manager. The line manager will meet with them (either face to face or online) to go through the workplace induction and they will be provided access to online learning packages including Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity, Customer Service and Information Security (to name a few). They will have access to additional online learning including skills videos such as Communication Skills and packages for ICT e.g. Word, Excel and Powerpoint where relevant to their role.

Kickstart participants will also be provided with access to a package of online learning, identified specifically for Kickstart including (but not limited to);

- An introduction to Time Management
- An introduction to listening
- Preparing for presentations
- An introduction to Body Language
- Your confidence profile

There will be 4 different interactive online workshops, which the Kickstart participants can join to develop their knowledge and skills to help achieve their employability goals. These include;
- Careers Advice and Setting Goals including job search
- Employability Support; ‘Work Ready’ includes attendance, time keeping, team working and communication
- CV's and Application Forms; preparing to apply
- Interview Skills (including online interview prep)

This is in addition to the training and support Kickstart participants will receive to undertake their day to day job.
