JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for someone that knows what looks good and can make the complex simple, who can think intuitively like a customer and bring forward recommendations to be part of a team focused on making apps and web portals easy to use. So it is a mix of visual, functional and behavioural science – easy for some, mystifying for others!
There are no particular skills you need for this role, of course you will be able to think like a millennial and will have experienced a lot of apps. You will need to be able to express your ideas in flowcharts and imagery, which means that you will be proficient in Adobe Creative suite.
The Ringley Group (PropTech & Property Services) is making a new opportunity for someone who wants to get into UX/UI designer on a real project alongside marketing and IT Developers. It is all about customer journeys and wizards, customer guides.
The Ringley Group encompasses multiple brands – all the usual property services as well as exciting new proptech. The brands you will be working with as PR Executive include PlanetRent – a portal which provides property services to thousands of customers. PlanetRent builds on that and opens our coveted tools to bring simplicity, transparency in a compliance led solution that also saves shed loads of time and money. So you could say we are growing.

Duties included but are not limited:
• Complete a UX analysis of the current product looking at the overall user journey.
• Propose UX improvements and provide a report highlighting recommendations and quick wins.
• Design and iterate proposed changes and provide these as wireframes.
• Build a prototype for presentation and testing for the wider business.
• Understanding user journeys and proactively suggesting improvements to the user experience.
• Managing the resolution of issues and communicating progress to the relevant staff in the IT team and management.

The ideal candidate:
• Experience in UX/UI testing
• Secure understanding of online user web navigation habits
• Front end design and programming skills (ruby on rails)
• Good team and communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team
• Good command of English, spoken and written
• Good understanding of QA methodologies and functional testing techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an instinct for assessing potential issues.
• Methodical, plans the test approach to achieve suitable coverage of scenarios.
• Actively contributes towards improving the user experience.
• Strong customer service focus with the ability to listen and communicate at all levels both written and verbal.
38.5 Hours per week

SKILLS NEEDED
Experience in photoshop / InDesign or equivalent essential
Good conversational English on the phone and in professional responses to emails

Mon-Fri 9am-6pm

HOURLY RATE
£8.91
