JOB SUMMARY
Cintel Global is a creative and technical production studio founded in late 2018 by Northumbria University Film & T.V Production graduates Cameron Craggs and Tom Scarborough, both aged 26. We are based in Proto: The Emerging Technology Centre, Gateshead, NE8 3DF which is situated by the Newcastle/Gateshead Quays.

Cintel provides services within the fields of Video Production, Photography, Interior Design, Animation as well as the Research and Development of Immersive Media content. We use Photogrammetry, Motion Capture and other techniques for use within VR, AR and real world immersive & interactive environments.

Cintel is currently transitioning into its next stage of Start-Up development and as such we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and talented individuals to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring young creatives, technicians and producers looking to develop practical skills and experience within an active studio environment. The right candidate will be willing to adapt to change and ready to learn. We are looking to help candidates grow and move into stable long-term employment.

Shift patterns of 25 hours per week spread 12-5pm Monday Friday as standard but other shift patterns and working arrangements can be negotiated and agreed with the successful applicant. Willing applicants are able to work entirely on site at the office. Entirely remote working can be arranged for the right candidate but we would ideally like a minimum requirement of 1 day per week spent on site so we can directly oversee and support development.

The main duties and responsibilities for this Junior Admin Assistant role will include but not be limited to - assisting with the scheduling and tracking of active client projects in an open plan studio environment, situated within a business and research centre just off the Gateshead Quays. General assistance in the studios day to day activities, such as syncing diaries, preparing studio for meetings. Answering the phone to calls and responding to emails. Developing reports and conducting research as needed. Media management - Gathering, organising and assisting in managing an asset library.

The right applicant for the role would also be willing to assist in tasks for a range of creative production tasks (training provided)photogrammetry and motion capture shoots or video & animation projects that may involve location-based assistance. Assisting in a range of developmental projects spanning immersive media, video production and animation.

SKILLS NEEDED
The essential skills required are - the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team based environment, take creative direction and embrace change. We do not require candidates to have a vast amount of experience, only a positive, can-do attitude, with an enthusiasm for learning new skills.

Any knowledge of creative production processes would be beneficial but a willingness to learn supersedes this. A current portfolio/presentation of work and/or previous experience is not essential but would be greatly beneficial.

The Ideal candidate would have an interest in Administrative Processes, Video Production, Games Design, Computer Science, Animation or some form of related knowledge of any of the following processes and software

Your development will be monitored and supported by our directors Cameron Craggs & Tom Scarborough, who will help guide your individual learning and development. There is a high likelihood that you will find future employment or freelance work opportunities with Cintel Global or through one of our partners. At the end of the Job Role suitable applicants will also be added to our talent register.
You will also gain invaluable insight into how a production company and office functions whilst gaining knowledge of how to run a business and manage projects to timescales. You will also be partial to budgeting and finance discussions which will help you develop core financial skills.
We will be in daily communication with you in terms of the job role and development via meetings and messenger. We will have dedicated bi-weekly progress meetings with a group workshop at the beginning and end of each month.
There will also be 3 individual development sessions. One initial assessment and goal setting session at the beginning of the placement, a second midpoint session after 3 months to discuss progress and adjust plans for the remainder of the placement, as well as a third and final session at the end of the 6 months to review progress and plan for next steps. We will also offer an optional fourth session after the job role has ended to provide ongoing support and guidance whilst signposting opportunities. We will also offer a fourth follow up session
