Marine Operative (Netwashing)

Due to significant investment in the company, we are now looking to recruit a Marine Operative to join our Loch Fyne netwashing team. You will work as directed by the Marine Site Manager, supporting with day-to-day operations to meet the needs of the business.

Key aspects of the role include:

Ability to operate machinery responsibly
Maintain all equipment, machinery and boats
Operate to the highest husbandry, biosecurity, food safety and quality standards
Follow safe working practices
Ability to understand site KPI’s and support the site team

Your skills will be assessed against our competency framework which has been nominated for two awards. The framework clearly shows what is required to move to the next level and training is provided to support your career progression.

Your Skills & Experience:

Interest in aquaculture and fish husbandry
Ideally have experience of working within the marine industry
Follows safe working practices
Ability to understand site KPI’s and supports the site team
Experience of working on and around boats
Ideally have skipper qualifications
Team player
Must hold a full, clean driver’s licence
