A new exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Marketing Assistant to join a decorative glass supplier based in Ebbw Vale.
The company is small with a big vision, priding itself on its unique culture and approach to working with its people.
Primarily the role will be based at the Ebbw Vale office, working on the front of house office support desk, you will be responsible for initial contact with customers requiring support and advice via email or telephone. Being able to understand customer queries and taking ownership to resolve the issue in the first instance and escalating through the proper channels when appropriate.
The function of this position is to professionally market all aspects of the company, as well as offering administrative support. This position carries a high degree of self-direction and requires a candidate with a proactive work ethic, positive can-do attitude, with the willing to learn and an interest in marketing, social media and I.T is essential. The business requires the successful candidate to be adaptable and able to prioritize, while managing multiple roles and responsibilities.

Job Role and Responsibilities:
To assist the general manager with a wide range of administrative duties such as preparing and proof-reading letters, filing of documents and any other correspondence.
Any other administrative duties as required.
Manage all social media and marketing for the business.
Identify new effective marketing strategies
Prepare marketing packages for appointments
Develop and market company sales, to help increase the brands awareness and profile within the market.
To be the first point of contact within the company office, assisting with telephone queries from our clients and forwarding on any correspondence to the General Manager.
To input data using Small-Builder Learn CAD Designs for Balustrade, showers’ and splashbacks.
Dealing with admin requests for customers.
Accurate logging of customer requests/ orders via Small-Builder Learn CAD Designs software. Prioritising and managing multiple requests.

Basic technical knowledge and experience with computers would be advantageous, but more importantly is the correct attitude and the ability to think through and solve problems whilst dealing with customers and colleagues in a professional and cooperative manner.

We are looking for:

Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Previous customer service experience along with excellent written and verbal communications.
Complete attention to detail with a self-auditing approach to their work.
Keen interest in social media, marketing and technology and willing to expand their knowledge.
