OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
In this role you will work with Neil, Gareth and their operations teams. You will be part of our front-line team who work to reduce the risk of flooding and respond to environmental incidents.

Covid has affected the way we work. We are spending less time at our depot and need your help improving our systems so that we can access information from any location. You will scan and save training certificates. We also want you to store training details on ‘smart cards’ so that our staff can access this information out on site.

We are always looking to improve efficiency and would like you to add to our suite of Microsoft forms used for safety inspections.
You will provide support ordering new equipment. You will also help our team members with computers and mobile phones.

You can work flexibly (depending on the tasks) spending time at home and in our Crosshands depot (SA14 6RE).

This position is for 25 hours per week

SKILLS NEEDED
You need to be confident using computers and mobile phones.

It would be useful if you can drive and hold a full UK driving licence; but this is not essential.

WORKING HOURS
5 hours a day. Actual pattern to be agreed between successful candidate and host team. This could be four long days.

HOURLY RATE
£9.56 per hour. Real Living Wage.

External Training and Assessment
 Level 4 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment.
 Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) green operative card.

You will be provided with a laptop, work equipment, corporate clothing, and personal protective equipment.
