JOB SUMMARY
Our Engineering Team are responsible for designing all the elements of a building that bring it to life and cover four disciplines: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Sustainable Engineering and Design Engineering. Our Trainees will be welcomed into the one which best suits their interests and we’ve provided a brief overview of each below: -

•Mechanical Engineer: responsible for all mechanical components of a building including water, gas, drainage, heating etc. This role brings mathematics, physics and design solutions skills together.

•Electrical Engineer: responsible for designing, testing, developing and managing all the electrical and communications equipment including lighting, power, photovoltaics and emergency generation.

•Sustainability Engineer: responsible for exploring and proposing energy strategies to coincide with local planning authority policy to meet relevant targets, this means they are at the forefront of changing regulations. If you’ve ever wondered, or know, what those fields full of black screens are up and down the country, this might be the position for you.

•Design Engineer: responsible for turning our mechanical and electrical engineers’ designs into reality via 2D AutoCAD drawings, and 3D REVIT modelling which allow us to fully coordinate our services with early clash detection meaning the design will work when it comes to be fitted on site in the real world. You may have picked up drawing or modelling skills from gaming or school IT lessons?

SKILLS NEEDED
No experience or qualifications required but a keen interest in building design, sustainable building or computer drawing is essential, as is a keenness to learn and a drive to succeed.

Successful applicants will have the ambition to train and become qualified in their chosen field and / or accredited in relevant government schemes. We offer “earn and learn” opportunities for successful Trainees and Juniors to support their career progression.
