We have fabulous job opportunity for you to join our awesome team. We support our brilliant customers who have mental health illness. They live in a mix of self-contained flats and bedrooms with shared facilities. Properties are located in close proximity to Lymington Town Centre, with travel to our satellite property in Hythe. On occasion you may also be required to work in our properties in Eastleigh.
We help our customers develop greater independence and self-management of their daily living skills alongside their mental and physical health.

You?ll help change our customer?s lives (and our services) for the better by undertaking risk assessments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews. You?ll create bespoke and personalised support plans with and for your customers. Each plan will look to meet our customer?s individual needs and aspirations, making sure they meet safeguarding and confidentiality requirements. You?ll also have responsibility for coordinating our support workers, apprentices and volunteers, and working collaboratively with external agencies, to assess and engage support for our customers.

Support Coordinator Working hours
You?ll work on a rota basis between the hours of 8am and 8pm and take your turn working days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays. We need you to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers, but we aim to give you the time you need to spend time doing the things that matter to you!
About our team
You?ll be working alongside our fabulous team who are super passionate about supporting customers to reach their goals and celebrating their achievements. To us were not just a team we?re a ?work family?. Our senior manager is Craig, who has a wealth of experience in working with our customer group. Outside of work, Craig loves nothing more than to be outdoors in his garden. Your brilliant manager will be Karen, a huge fan of Star Wars!
To make sure that we keep our records straight, and customers safe, it's really important that you are technologically savvy (or at the very least not a technophobe!) You?ll be given the latest IT kit, which could include a Surface Pro tablet and smart phone, supported by our new online integrated IT system which means that you don?t have to be in the office as you can complete support plans on the go.
To make sure our customers are well supported, it?s important that you have worked in a supported housing environment before. Don?t worry, we won?t drop you in the deep end, we?ll help to you understand how things work at Home Group!
As this is a community-based role, you?ll need to travel around to spend time with your customers. You could do this role using public transport, or if you drive and have access to a car that would also be amazing! (we pay your expenses to cover this use!)
When you join, you?ll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you don?t have a transferrable one.
