As a trainee you will be working with the team members to develop an understanding and hands on experience of maintaining a safe environment.

As a Trainee Maintenance Person you will be:
Working closely with the team to understand the importance of maintaining the appearance of the Care Home and surrounding grounds ensuring excellent first impressions to all who visit.
Observing and practicing the upkeep of services such as heating, lighting, plumbing and non-medical equipment required for the safe and efficient operation of the Home.
Gaining experience of maintaining the homes exterior ensuring pathways and driveways are clear, unobstructed and safe.
Developing your skills in maintaining the plants, flowerbeds and potted plants and making sure the grassed areas are kept tidy to enhance first impressions.
Working with the team to observe and take part in the essential checks that are required around the home.
Developing skills such as decorating, including painting & wallpapering, minor refurbishment and maintenance within the home
Assisting with the fire and water risk assessments and reviews.

All interested young people need to be double vaccinated before starting with Four Seasons (they have until 28/02/2022), unless medically exempt.
Example of working pattern is: 4 days on 4 days off - 25hours per week working between 8am to 8pm - to be confirmed with successful candidate
ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
Employability support will be delivered remotely through our Gateway, Learning Curve Group.
They will deliver the NCFE Level 1 Employability Skills Award qualification during the placement, working on the following units:-
Working in a Team
Writing a CV
Kickstarter's will also be given pastoral support throughout their placement by their personal Employability Coach from Learning Curve Group.
During their placement, they will also have the opportunity to complete a vocational Level 2 qualification as supplied by Learning Curve
Group through their Flexible Learning offer.
