Jeely Piece Club

To provide a first class point of contact to our service users. You will greet our visitors over the phone, in person and over the internet.

Assists with phone enquiries both incoming and outgoing to the organisation and its services.
Assists visitors to our premises with a friendly, welcoming service.
Deals with website and social media enquiries.
Learns quickly about our services, whats on and when.
Signposts service users where necessary.
Performs basic cash handling duties.
Assists with basic administration duties and dealing with customers, colleagues and suppliers. Performs clerical duties, including, but not limited to, attendance registers, filing, photocopying.

1. Interacts with colleagues and visitors across the organisation
2. Sorts and distributes incoming and outgoing mail
3. Deal with telephone and other enquiries across the organisation
4. Arranges meetings by reserving rooms and managing refreshments
5. Photocopies, scans, and files appropriate documents
6. Signs for delivered packages and distributes them to the appropriate person/team
7. Can cover reception/buzzer door entry on occasion
8. Performs cash handling duties
9. Engages in learning and development
10. Works across both office locations of the organisation
11. Performing any other reasonable duties when required

Good telephone manner.
Tidy and smart appearance.
Able to interact with a variety of people - from colleagues to customers to suppliers.
Capable of performing basic clerical tasks and money tasks.



Weekly S&S sessions with supervisor and Monthly session with Line Manager.
S&S template used to record meetings both weekly and monthly.
In-house training offered where/when available.
SCVO training catalogue made available.
Support with CV, JobSearch available from Line Manager

.Working with SCVO, our Kickstart Gateway the employee will have access to a further package of support that will include; access to a Kickstart employee forums, additional training sessions employability Award, wellbeing, finance etc., and access to a dedicated Open University portal with courses in Skills for work and employability, Digital Skills, Skills for life, The voluntary sector and Leadership and management. They will also work individually with the employer where with the employee they identify specific support/training needs.
