The Finance Administrative Assistants will be responsible for a full range of administrative tasks to support the finance function which include (but are not limited to) administrative and clerical tasks (such as scanning or printing), preparing and editing letters, reports, memos, and emails, arranging meetings, answering phone calls and taking messages, maintaining folders on servers, allocating payments to debtors, assisting reconciling paypal and amazon, liaising with debtors and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner, entering of invoices,
other ad-hoc duties to support the rest of the team and assistance with monthly stock takes. Daily support will be provided by the Finance Director and the Head of Finance who will ensure that the Finance Administrative Assistants are fully equipped and have all the information required in order to execute their roles effectively. Spirit has a senior business leader who will offer support. This will provide additional support pastorally and developmentally-with line management sitting with the Finance team. In addition, we have dedicated support functions within the business who will be providing education on CVs, the process of seeking employment, attendance, task and time management, teamwork, HR, IT skills, Operation Management, Governance and Procurement. Skill Enhancement & Confidence Building Daily on the job training with support from the line manager, shadowing of colleagues and line manager, bespoke training and rolling appraisal plan,
gap analysis, goal mapping and personal development plan,
full access to spirits internal training scheme, full access to external training where required, mandatory training through our external training provider, Blue Stream, one to one line manager meetings, Coaching with our Internal Kickstart Project Manager,
group kickstart meetings ran by our Project Manager to encourage shared learning, experiences and storytelling, Regular team meetings, Skill Strength Focus,Attendance Management and Time Keeping and Time Management. Data will be extracted from feedback methods above, in order, to understand what was successful, and whether this may be implemented in other areas, what improvements could be made (with specific examples and actions to secure improvement.) and
what went wrong (with specific examples and actions to end repetition) which are also reported to our Governance Board. We have a great culture at Spirit and are extremely proud of it.
