City Furniture Services was established in 2002 to take the hassle out of furnishing property for landlords.

In this role as a Warehouse Operative, your main duties will include, but are not limited to:
Continuous stock management in store room stacking and packing stock safely
Assembling furniture in showroom and setting up displays
Looking at outgoing deliveries and picking the items stock ready for delivery
General administration duties
Update customers after receiving the delivery and organise either delivery or collection
Deal with all collections before giving stock to customers please check with senior member of staff
Update stock check every Friday and create spreadsheet with data
Offloading all incoming deliveries and checking off all items are correct before signing
Loading delivery vans for deliveries outgoing making sure all correct items are loaded
General cleaning duties as and when required

Having a friendly and engaging personality.
Comfortable working with members of the public.
Should have a confident manner.
Must be helpful and polite.
Assistants should be physically fit as they will be on their feet for most of the day and may be required to lift large amounts of stock.
Knowledge of inventory techniques.
Should be of a smart appearance and articulate.

Monday to Friday-rota to be discussed at interview

You will receive 1-2-1 online career coaching sessions once a month with a Supplytrain careers coach. These coaching sessions will help you to develop the skills and mind-set for a successful career. Your Career Coach will help you work through opportunities and challenges in the workplace as you make progress towards your future career goals. Alongside the career coaching the employer will provide in-house training for the role, as well as support you via monthly 1-2-1 progress meetings to help you understand how you are performing at work and where you can continue to develop.
The employee will receive 1-2-1 career coaching sessions once a month via Microsoft Teams with a Supplytrain CIC careers coach.

These coaching sessions will help you to develop work skills, talk through opportunity and challenges in the workplace and help you prepare for sustained employment.
