EMPLOYER
LetCheck Inventories

JOB SUMMARY
As a LetCheck Property Inspector you will be carrying out detailed reports on the condition and contents in a property on the first and last day of a tenancy. The report you compile will determine what deposit is returned to the tenant. By being an independent third party, our service protects landlords’ properties, tenant’s deposits and our client’s reputation.
We are a multi award winning service provider and have high standards. We are looking for likeminded candidates that are reliable, conscientious, punctual and professional to inspect properties throughout London.
This is not an office based position, you will be constantly on the move travelling around London, acting as the face of our business, meeting agents, tenants and landlords. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate the following qualities:
Conscientiousness- This is the key attribute that all Property Inspectors must maintain. It is our consistent top notch service that makes us stand out from the crowd.
Diligence- You will be a logical thinker and have a keen eye for detail, as our reports are renowned for being accurate and thorough, with a dose of pragmatism.
Self-discipline and Organisation- Although working as part of a strong team, you will be responsible for managing your own day whilst out on the road so must be self-disciplined, organised and pro-active.
Composure
As a person, you must be confident, calm and able to handle stress well. You will regularly be meeting tenants that are checking in or out of a property, whilst needing to work to a (sometimes tight) time schedule to get to your next appointment on time.
Pro-active and Communicative
As you will be working on your own out on the road, it is vital to maintain good communication with your tenant and the rest of the team throughout the day.

Reliability
Above all, we are looking for hard-working, dependable people that are willing to get stuck in. In return for flexibility on our side, we need you to be adaptable too, to be prepared to work the odd long day or extra hours when needed.

We are currently recruiting for people able to work in Greater London, but would also be pleased to hear from those located in the surrounding areas with access to their own transport.
In return, we offer full training, consisting of online training, shadowing of experienced clerks and practical training days, along with generous pay. You will become an associate of a like-minded team that is supportive and accommodating to your lifestyle.
Good availability and commitment will enhance your application, and you must be completely fluent in English. Your own transport is a bonus, but not a necessity.
Successful candidates will be those who are available at least three days per week, including most weekends.
This will initially be a self-employed position, but may later change to an employed role depending upon your circumstances.
