JOB SUMMARY
Futurum Consulting offers consulting services which help SME’s and charities to operate more efficiently and get best use of digital technology. We specialise in digital transformation projects, business process reviews and system integrations & implementations.

As a Marketing Assistant for Futurum Consulting, you will be helping to get the name and brand of the business known throughout many industry sectors.

The work you will be involved with will include:
Attending networking events to represent and promote the business
E-Mail marketing campaigns
Creating and publishing website content
Creating and publishing social media content
Managing the quality of data in the CRM system
Following up leads and setting appointments

You will work closely with the founder of the business to develop and enhance your skills. Initially you will shadow the founder at networking events before being left to attend them independently.

Training on digital marketing tools and techniques will be provided.

This role would particularly suit someone who is interested in going onto do an Apprenticeship after the placement.

Futurum Consulting is based in Salisbury and attendance at the office will be required on a regular basis, but some home-working will be an option too. In addition to that, there will be occasions when meetings and/or networking events will take place in-person at various locations in the UK (full travel and accommodation expenses are paid for this where necessary).

SKILLS NEEDED
An interest in sales and marketing and the ability to engage with people at all levels are all essential.

However, prior experience is not required.

A driving licence and own car would be an advantage but not essential.

As this role is client-facing, a professional appearance, manner and behaviour is essential.

Must be fluent in written and oral English.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office software is essential.

WORKING HOURS
This can be flexible to suit both the candidate and the business and may change week to week

HOURLY RATE
National Minimum Wage

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
Support will be provided as follows:
CV writing advice
Interview preparation including mock interviews
On the job training and mentoring
3rd party training courses

This support will be provided by the founder of the business who the participant will have a close working relationship with, along with 3rd party training companies, and potentially some CV reviews and mock interviews being provided by Sarum Rotary and/or Salisbury Education & Business Partnership.

As much of the training and mentoring will be on the job, it will be provided throughout the placement but with a heavy emphasis at the beginning.
