JOB SUMMARY
The successful candidate will attend the customers at home.
The successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of automotive glazing from cars to heavy plant machinery. Typically, the work involves:
Removing moulds and trims from around windows.
Disconnecting any electrical components.
Removing damaged glass.
Selecting the correct size of windscreen to be fitted to the vehicle.
Replacing the glass according to the vehicle manufacturer's specifications.
Refitting all the removed components.
Face to face customer service.
Cutting flat laminated glass for plant and agricultural vehicles.
Job training will be provided by the company, leading to a sustainable job for the right candidate.
An interest in motor vehicles would be advantageous accompanied with a genuine interest to succeed in gaining new skills in a challenging environment.

SKILLS NEEDED
A full UK Driving Licence would be advantageous, however not necessary. The candidates will be able to travel with colleagues during their training, however once qualified they would require a driving licence. An interest in motor vehicles would be advantageous.

WORKING HOURS
8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday 8:30am to 12:30pm Saturday.

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
Employability Support Training Package to be delivered by Cambrian Training Company
CTC will deliver 26 hours of employability training and support with a mixture of online resources and mentor training that will be delivered at a flexible time to suit the business over the 6-month period of the Kickstart scheme.
