JOB SUMMARY

We have an opportunity for a Sales Executive role, as follows:
Job Content:
Develop knowledge and skills with selected IoT technologies
Internet research and customer acquisition • Active use and management of CRM system
Sales funnel management
Contact, leads, opportunity generation and management
Sales performance reporting
Utilisation communication tools such as LinkedIn and company Facebook
Regular communication with opportunities, new and existing customers

Responsibilities:
Ensure new contacts, leads and opportunities are logged into CRM system
Ensure CRM system is updated consistently with all key information
Update team members of activity and new leads and opportunities
Share requirements for technical or sales demonstrations with team
Monitor the progress leads and opportunities
Maintain excellent knowledge of IoT solutions in market
Identify non-sales requests and pass them on to appropriate instance
Weekly/Monthly reporting of Sales activity

SKILLS NEEDED
Required Skills:
Knowledge sales process
Excellent verbal and written skills
Customer service skills
Good organisational skills

Desired Experience:
Knowledge of IoT technologies useful

Education:
University Graduate
A Levels & GCSE considered

WORKING HOURS
Monday to Friday 5 hours per day, or 3 full days per week

HOURLY RATE
National Minimum Wage

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
As Kickstart Gateway, Bidright will provide the following training and support:
Zoom briefing and/or welcome call to employers and Kickstart placements
Support with placement onboarding and induction, online guidelines
Ongoing email and phone support 8am-8pm Monday -Friday and 8am-12pm Saturday
Monthly call to the Kickstart young person, zoom networking sessions for Kickstart employees and employers
Regular monthly feedback
Bidright has a network of 300 training and recruitment organisations, so we can source local training/recruitment support for each employer as well as promote progression e.g. to apprenticeships/further/higher learning. We have an arrangement in place with West Berkshire Training Consortium (Ofsted Grade 2) for the following:
Employer Organisational Needs Assessment to establish additional training/recruitment needs and explain other funding e.g. apprenticeship
Individual needs assessment including initial assessment of basic and employability skills and tailored individual action plan
Online employability training of 30 guided learning hours (glh) covering: attendance, timekeeping, teamwork, communication, CV preparation, Interview preparation (including mock interviews), jobsearch preparation
Optional L1 digital and customer service skills/L1 safeguarding and maths/English if required
Support with applying for jobs at the end of their placement if the placement is not continuing
Information, Advice and Guidance regarding career options
Ongoing networking opportunities, job alerts, recruitment fairs, signposting to additional local support
Minimum total 36 glh and average 50 glh spread throughout the programme, according to needs, with more intensive jobsearch support towards the end of the programme.
