Your training will give you the correct qualifications and experience that will enable you to become a valued member of a scaffold team and being capable of assisting any such scaffold team in carrying out general temporary works scaffold projects.

General Duties: - Working as part of a team
Assisting in yard eventually taking own responsibility for sorting, maintaining, tidying and storage of scaffold materials.
Assisting scaffold team in safe stacking out vehicle with that day’s equipment.
Assisting a scaffold team in loading out materials once at site
Assisting in Supplying and passing to scaffold team members such scaffold materials from Vehicle as required.
Assisting in receiving dismantled scaffold materials from scaffold team and safe stacking on vehicle
Assisting on return to yard safe storage of materials

Should you satisfactorily complete your six months with DSS Ltd then the company may consider making you an offer of further full time employment dependent on company needs at that time or alternative assist in job applications to other scaffold/construction companies.

SKILLS NEEDED
Teamwork it must be learned as a meaning full part of a friendly team understanding the essentials of not letting your team mates down

WORKING HOURS
7am to 4 30pm Monday to Friday occasional Saturday working as required

HOURLY RATE
National Minimum Wage

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
Training through our current training providers will include but not be restricted to: -
Health and Safety Awareness Course with scaffold and site works, leads to award of (Certificate)
this leads to
Construction Operatives Training Scheme Course (COTS)
this leads to
Construction Industries Scaffolders Registration Scheme Card at scaffold labourer level
This leads to
Manual handling. Course
Recognition of scaffold equipment’s in house
Storing and retrieving of scaffold equipment’s in house
Servicing and repair of scaffold equipment.in house
