This Business Development Representative (BDR) role will support our partner NativeVideo a developer of video technology that enables Salesforce software users to work smarter, stay safer and reduce their impact on the environment.
Native Video need a motivated, action oriented and disciplined BDR to complement their Sales Team and make an impact as the first point of contact for Prospects and Customers. You will be responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities, managing outbound campaigns on behalf of their sales team, qualifying active buying interest, and identifying critical decision makers to successfully position the value proposition. You will quickly become an expert on the NativeVideo product as you will use it everyday in your job
The right candidate for this position will work hard to achieve high performance and deliver on NativeVideo core values to unlock new challenges and career advancement within NativeVideo itself.

We offer a competitive package with a total potential annualised pay of £27K made of both salary and commissions.

Your daily adventures will include making 60+ outbound phone calls each day, creative outbound prospecting within your target accounts, leveraging sales tools such as LinkedIn Navigator to remotely network with potential customers, achieving and exceeding weekly monthly metrics (appointments, qualified leads, new contacts, etc.) gaining business knowledge through researching how different businesses operate, their leadership structures, what their pain points are and challenges they face everyday, assisting marketing in the development and execution of campaigns, pipeline organisation and collaboration with NativeVideo sales closers for qualified meetings
Even working remotely, we hold daily team huddles to celebrate wins and share goals

Telesales experience preferred but not essential.

You need to 1) embody Native Video core values of Trust, Sense of Urgency, Discipline, Diversity, Growth, and Love, 2) demonstrate empathy for customers struggles and challenges and 3) be intellectually curious and resilient 4) Highly organised and able to adapt to changing priorities
You need to feel confident using programs like Salesforce CRM and LinkedIn and have a knack for picking up software applications quickly.
University Degree preferred but not essential.

9am to 5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch

£8.72 + Commission

Weekly support is given by both Elder Digital Marketing and our partner client NativeVideo.

Specifically, support is given in developing writing skills, to include CVs, LinkedIn profiles, and LinkedIn posts to develop skills to prepare for interviews, presentations, and meetings

This support is provided in a structured programme 1) during the initial onboarding induction set up phase over the first few weeks, then 2) monthly with review meetings, and also 3) an in depth assessment halfway through the job placement and again towards the end.

Mentoring and personal support takes approximately 2 hours per week

The support is provided by team members including personal mentoring by Jonathan Elder (Managing Director, Elder Digital Marketing) and through pre-existing arrangements / relationships with software partners and certified training providers HubSpot (Sales Qualifications) and Salesforce

The support is monitored through the monthly personal development review process with Jonathan Elder (Managing Director, Elder Digital Marketing) where the young person can receive and provide feedback during their job placement. This will be acted on immediately and incorporated into the personal development and support plans.
