Edwards Commercial Cleaning Services Ltd

We’re looking for an Administration Trainee to join our busy administration office on Buddle Road, Newcastle.
The role will include filing, copying and preparing documents for the administration and operations team. We run payrolls and invoices from the office so helping with envelopes and picking up the post from reception will be part of the role.
As a business always looking to improve, we’ve introduced a new digital attendance system and the Trainee will help us run the system by loading in information, replying to emails and setting up new accounts.
General administration functions also include shredding documents and may include answering incoming calls / taking messages and passing them on.

You will have a good spoken and written communication skills and be willing to help with whatever needs to be done. The most important thing is a positive and helpful attitude to work and being able to fit in well with the team. We can teach everything else.

10am to 2pm Monday to Friday based at our office.

£10 p/h

The new starter will be Managed by our Office Manager, Sarah Taylor who works full time in the office. Sarah will direct the new starter on tasks and show how things work.
We will mentor the starter in different aspects of the role and introduce new tasks if capable and want to develop and learn. We have many roles in the business and over time the starter may look to diversify to assist finance or operations.
Our office is at John Buddle Work Village, Buddle Road, Newcastle NE4 8AW and the role will be based there.
RHWE will provide a package of support for the employer to provide to the young people through our Kickstart scheme placements that will assist with: developing skills and wider work experience;, how to search for long-term employment opportunities, set career goals and provide career advice, write a CV, prepare for interviews, develop work skills such as team working, communication, timekeeping and attendance and provide access to RHWE’s wider programme EXPLORE START GROW.
