Supported by the Entry Talent Acquisition Manager you’ll be focused on the Future Driver Programme, supporting the recruitment process from advertising, screening, interviewing and offer management.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Resource and qualify candidates in accordance with agreed timescales
  • Use all database and web resourcing methods and ensure all roles are advertised on the appropriate websites and manage responses within the agreed timescales
  • Conduct initial screening of candidates and short-list CVs for relevant vacancies as required
  • Liaising with wider team to progress candidates to appropriate selection phase with agreed timescales
  • Communicating effectively and confidently, over the phone, and in writing, offering support and guidance throughout the recruitment process externally and internally
  • Handle resourcing queries in a proactive, customer focused way
  • Liaise with Line Managers / Site HR managing offer and onboarding ensuring that all candidates are fully briefed and have a great experience.
  • Ensuring all roles are filled within agreed timelines and cost targets
  • Understand company market positioning and branding to develop a compelling sales pitch to generate candidate interest
  • Support with offer management and tracking, and onboarding where required
  • Tracking and maintaining a database of all candidates
  • Record maintenance to ensure internal compliance
  • Assist in developing creative ideas and strategies to promote Wincanton in the community and actively promote the brand throughout the recruitment process
