JOB SUMMARY
This is a 6-month Kickstart Placement, supplied by Adecco Working Ventures on behalf of IPT Care, where there may be potential to transition into a permanent role at the end of the placement term for the right candidate.

For the duration of your 6-month placement, Adecco Working Ventures will be your employer and employability mentor, however you will be working with and on behalf of IPT Care.

About the Placement
IPT Care is a start-up venture based in the Hemel Hempstead. Its activities are mainly based in the health care but not limited there alone. We have developed software that we think will revolutionize the operations of recruitment in the health care sector and beyond. We utilize our software to add value to the recruitment and client engagement process.

The Role
Generate sales of IPT Care portfolio of products mainly in the healthcare sector, research and identify new business opportunities; including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services; or new ways of reaching existing markets.

Key responsibilities:
Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization
Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
Think strategically; seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
Work strategically; carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
Draw up client contracts; depending on the size of company, this task may be completed by someone else or agreements may not be as formal
Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them
Ensure staff are on board throughout the organisation, and understand the need for change and what is required of them
Train members of your team, arranging external training where appropriate

Desirable/Essential experience/qualifications and Key Skills:
Ability to manage a team is desirable.
Knowledge of the Healthcare Sector is advantageous
Proven sales experience is desirable
Able to present and communicate complex systems is desirable
Tenacious and target driven

WORKING HOURS
Monday-Friday Flexible working hours TBD upon interview

HOURLY RATE
National Minimum Wage for age

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
In addition to the placement experience which will provide training to increase skills, confidence, and understanding of workplace expectations, AWV is committed to supporting each young person’s employability skills alongside their placement. We provide personal ad-hoc as well as monthly mentoring sessions, to ensure that the placement opportunity goes successfully.

For a minimum of one hour per month, our employability training (both on a remote one-to-one basis and remote group workshops) will cover: CV improvement/updating, interview skills, application writing, job search techniques, and any mentoring required, as well as ensuring an employer reference is received; all to increase the participant’s long-term employment prospects.

Our employment training and mentoring is remote and therefore resilient to Covid lockdowns; these will not hamper our progression.
