Lighthouse Schools Partnership

Work within a learning framework set by the classroom teachers, provide support for the collective needs of pupils, which ensures that they have equality of access to opportunities, in a safe and healthy environment to learn and develop.
To act as an integral part of the school staff team, and as such to make a contribution to the overall aims of the school, working within agreed policies and procedures.
The Class Teacher for Day to day deployment, planning for the year group and class, learning resources at an operational level, feedback on children in the class and year, performance management.
The Head Teacher for. Grievances, Occupational Health, contract queries, unpaid leave, child protection. Establish and maintain effective relationships with pupils. Learn to work with specified groups or individuals to achieve the learning focus set by the classroom teacher, providing feedback on their engagement in activities and their achievement of the desired learning focus.
Provide care and support for the pupils. Promote pupil well being by encouraging them to develop good relationships with others, develop their self reliance and self esteem and help them to adjust to new settings, and to practice good standards of health and hygiene. To ensure awareness of and help pupils apply the GOLDEN RULES in their everyday activities. Act on the Child Protection Policy
To ensure the Child Protection policy (Safeguarding) is followed on a day to day basis. Take responsibility for reporting situations which potentially pose a danger to any pupil or member of staff in the school.
DBS check required.

This could include. Careers advice and guidance, CV preparation. Coaching to support well being. Interview preparation. Training to develop skills to independently lead projects or as team work. Organisation and communication skills development as part of the role. Upskilling to document and produce written evidence to demonstrate employability within given sector, Regular and robust progress reviews to provide critical guidance on areas of improvement. Clear plan to achieve goals or success indicators. Ensuring each Kickstart employee understands the placement and support they will be receiving.
