JOB SUMMARY
Oya are looking for a motivated and hard working individual to help them source, acquire and help manage our Food and Beverage property portfolio at a point of significant growth. If you’re interested in working for a tech start up with a bright future and ambitious plans to take over the property and F&B sector, this could be the perfect role for you. The role will report into the Sales Manager. It requires a confident self starter who is ready for a challenge.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the Food and Beverage sales team, helping to attract food vendors and new kitchen spaces across the UK
Think creatively how to capture new leads
Manage incoming leads
Help create sales reports on results
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers via phone and email
Assist the sales team with administrative tasks and help streamline processes to increase productivity

SKILLS NEEDED
You’ll be enthusiastic and have the confidence to approach new customers
Keen to work in a fast paced sales/business development environment
Great communication and organisational skills
1-2 years experience in a similar role

WORKING HOURS
9.00-17.00 Monday to Friday

HOURLY RATE
National minimum wage

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
The sales training programme would be designed to educate and enhance the new hire’s ability to perform within any sales function. They will be taught using a mixture of online learning, presentations, projects and on the job tasks. Areas covered will be core sales skills, how to build a sales pipeline, administration, business development, partnerships, presentation planning/execution and contract negotiation. The internal training would also cover how to approach a property deal, how to negotiate and close customers, skills that will be instantly transferable to further sales roles.

To develop teamwork and communication skills we will set a project related to their training programme. They will be asked to present their findings to the team, and be given the chance to improve their public speaking skills. This will also improve their personal timekeeping skills.

Our employability workshop will include:
A skills assessment to help them understand where their expertise lies and what jobs and industries they would be best suited to. We will discuss CV writing and how to write a stand out CV and cover letter. We will go through where to look for jobs and how best to apply. Finally, we plan to teach interview techniques, outline potential questions and how to answer them clearly and concisely. Finishing with a mock interview.
