As an Academic Support Coach you will provide in class support to teaching staff, support small group tuition and work with a cluster of personal tutors to provide pastoral follow up, support and intervention for learners e.g. chase attendance etc.

SKILLS NEEDED
We are looking for a person who wants to work within the education sector and has an idea of supporting within a classroom however this is not essential.

WORKING HOURS
Monday-Thursday 08:30-5:00pm, Friday 08:30-4:30pm

HOURLY RATE
National Minimum Wage

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
We will be allocating the member of staff a team mentor, who will work closely with them
to provide system training, so they feel confident navigating the systems we use and
understand how they all communicate.
Online training for Safeguarding, PREVENT, GDPR, & Health & Safety in the workplace.
Microsoft Office Specialist courses where they can achieve Microsoft recognised
qualifications, in particular in Excel and Word.
The opportunity to achieve the Mental Health First Aider qualification.
