We are a small, but growing, health food start-up looking for a friendly, articulate, enthusiastic, and organised individual to join our team as our Online Sales Executive.

Our Online Sales Executive will be responsible for growing our sales with online retailers as well as supporting general sales efforts to increase direct sales from our website.

A large part of the role will entail researching, identifying and approaching new online retail partners to secure new listings for our products.

Since the role is remote, we are looking for someone who can manage their own time well, while still working well as part of a team.

We are looking for someone who is confident calling new potential customers while also a good, clear written communicator. The ideal candidate should be a resourceful researcher, able to identify potential leads, and highly organised to keep track of contacts and communications. Should be a graduate ideally with a qualification in sales/ business development (or related) OR someone with related sales experience.. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Working in a start-up is a great way to get an understanding of how a business works day-to-day. Since our team is small, everyone gets stuck in across a range of areas to support where needed—especially for a new retailer listing or product launch. The applicant will learn teamwork and flexibility, while seeing tangible results from his/her work.
This role will help the applicant hone his/her communication skills, while learning effective business development strategies and relationship building. The Sales Executive will work closely with the founder and he/she will learn how to communicate brand USPs, to manage his/her time, and learn strong negotiation skills.
The founder will also work with the Sales Executive to fine-tune his/ her CV.
