JOB SUMMARY
Overview
Provide marketing and communications support as part of the marketing team and supporting the internal and external marketing and communications plans.

Key responsibilities include:
Work with the Marketing Manager to decide on key CSR and community projects.
Organise and deliver community events.
Organise and deliver stakeholder events.
Work with Learning and Development Department to deliver STEM activities.
Lead in the collation and production of the weekly internal newsletter encouraging input from all divisions and sites.
Lead in the collation and production of a new external newsletter.
Manage the news feed and social media accounts for all divisions.
Lead in the production and collation of marketing material as required.
Creating templates and graphics for website, social media and newsletters.
Providing design support for tenders and bid documents.
Production of presentation materials in print and electronically.
Providing design ideas and creativity for all marketing collateral.
Assist with the marketing of business divisions in Story Contracting.
Co-ordinating all photography and filming for projects and events.

SKILLS NEEDED
Enthusiastic and motivated self starter.
Natural and confident communicator.
Excellent team player.
Strong level of literacy skill including proof reading.
Excellent planning and organisational skills with an eye for detail.
Interest in community based events and initiatives.
Experience of working with budgets in a commercial environment and striving for return on investment is essential.
Working Knowledge of In-Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, campaign monitor and animoto is an advantage.
Experience of the construction industry is an advantage.
Ability to work on confidential material and tenders is an advantage.
Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
Experience and ability to work to deadlines at pace with regularly changing priorities and workloads.

WORKING HOURS
Flexible to be agreed

HOURLY RATE
National Minimum Wage

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
Employability support will be provided by the Line Manager, colleagues and our in-house Learning and Development Team.
Timekeeping and attendance will be supported by the immediate team.
Training in teamwork and communication skills will be provided by our learning and development team and coached on-the-job by team colleagues.
IT, Health and Safety Training will also be provided.
In addition we will provide support with interviewing skills and CV writing through our in-house training.
