An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 2 Medical Equipment Library Technician to join the Medical Equipment Library team in our Clinical Engineering Department.

You will work in a busy team that manages the delivery, collection and processing of medical devices throughout the Trust ensure patient safety. The department works to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 quality standards and is responsible for the management in excess of 55,000 medical devices used across the hospital and in the community throughout East Anglia.

Clinical Engineering supports a wide range of medical equipment in the Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It is the responsibility of Clinical Engineering to ensure equipment operates effectively and safely with a minimum of downtime.

This post is one of a number within the Medical Equipment Library Section of Clinical Engineering.

You will be required to perform work of a routine non-complex nature, responsible for minor repairs and planned activities as directed by management.
