We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed registered health or social care professional to our Head of Safeguarding role. This post holder will be an important member of the Nursing, Therapies & Quality directorate within an integrated Mental Health, Physical Health and Learning Disabilities Trust; focused on improving and sustaining high quality effective care for the benefit of our patients, carers and families.
The post holder will be responsible for the professional leadership and operational management of the Trust’s safeguarding team to deliver excellent safeguarding practice across all services throughout the entire Trust.
You will need to be a significantly experienced health or social care professional, a highly visible leader, a skilled facilitator and an excellent communicator. You will have a strong track record in senior safeguarding leadership roles and be energised about providing the highest quality of safeguarding practise for those who receive our services.

This post requires the post holder to be able to undertake all statutory and mandatory training and post holders must be able to undertake physical interventions. Fitness for physical intervention will be assessed by Occupational Health.
