The candidate will be required to ensure proper flow of office procedures and support the Directors by carrying out common office duties. Maintaining a positive and friendly company image by acting as the first line of contact to visitors, customers, and vendors in person, online, and via telephone.
This job placement will include various office tasks for example: data input, checking spreadsheets, running data compliance checks, coping, printing.

During the course of this role the kick-starter will develop excellent organisation skills. The kick-starter will gain valuable work experience and increase the interpersonal skills through communication with colleagues in the company. The candidate will receive on-board training and mentoring from experienced colleagues. New transferable skills will be helpful for the kick-starters in any future career.

This role may progress into a career in payroll within our company.

Location: Work at the office.

No specific skills, experience or qualification required. We are looking for candidates that are self-motivated, determined to see tasks completed accurately and on time, and with an eye to attention to details.
Basic numeracy skills and knowledge of Excel and MS Office pack would be an advantage.

The kick-starter will undertake in house payroll training and mentoring.
To increase the employability of the participants, the company will provide work-ready training packs for participants. These will include: strategies on how to look for a job, how to keep yourself motivated, effective communication training (STAR technique), stress management, mental health in the workplace, work-ready attitude, effective teamwork strategies, health and safety, CV workshop. The skill will be put to practice during the entire placement, and it will constitute a large part of the individualised feedback. The content of the training will be customized to the individual needs of the participant. Kick-starters will be challenged to prepare their own CVs based on the guidance and a CV templet. These tools together with the opportunity to receive feedback will allow the kick-starter to develop their CV in a well-planned manner. The company will provide them with mentoring from our experienced trainers, hiring managers and team leaders. The company will provide them with the tools to make it more effective and more organised. At the end of the 6-month job placement, participants will receive the certificate of achievement. This will be a good opportunity to review the kick-starter progress.
