Ifor Williams Trailers is Britain’s leading trailer manufacturer, operating at five advanced manufacturing sites across North Wales, in a variety of disciplines, we are excited at the opportunity to offer young people the chance to gain excellent work experience as a Trainee Floor Assembler, you require no experience as full training is provided also the role may become permanent after the successful 6 months’ work placement.

Floor Assembler worker generally assembles fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations. Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. The Floor Assembler uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.

SKILLS NEEDED
No previous experience required as fully training provided.
Happy to work in an Industrial manufacturing environment

WORKING HOURS
Working hours: Rotating day shift. Week 1: 6am - 2pm (Monday to Friday) / 6am - 12pm (Saturday) Week 2: 2pm - 10pm (Monday to Friday)

HOURLY RATE
£NMW

These will be provided by our Kickstart Gateway (Hexagon Recruitment Services Limited)

The Kickstart Scheme job placements should help them get basic work skills. This includes:
• attendance
• timekeeping
• communication
• teamwork
• travelling to work
Kickstart participants may also need help with:
• CV and interviews
• looking for long term work
If the Kickstart worker on review indicates that they are unlikely to be retained by the employing organisation, they will be invited to discuss development of their CV and how to prepare for interviews. They will also be shown where to look for appropriate long term work.
