JOB SUMMARY
The candidate will be required to work from our premises at Unit s7a, Wharf Way, Glen Parva, Leicester, LE2 9TF. The candidate will be expected to attend Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 1.30pm.
Duties will include general administration jobs, invoicing, taking payments, working on reception, greeting customers, answering the telephone, booking jobs in.
Possibility of permanent position but not guaranteed for the right candidate following placement.

SKILLS NEEDED
The applicant will be polite and cheerful, of clean and tidy appearance, with a strong desire to help, and take imitative when required

WORKING HOURS
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 1.30pm possible overtime

Wrap around Employability Skills training is provided by Reed via our own in-house Learning and Development team. This team has created a robust and structured 6-month auditable online training programme including a wide and high-quality range of employability skills training.

The above programme of learning is currently used widely in schools as a Virtual Work Experience training initiative. The Kickstarter will be supported by a dedicated Learning Mentor who will provide ongoing support and guidance as well as a more formal monthly review over 6 months and a final record of achievement. These reviews will be conducted virtually via MS Teams and will, therefore, be Covid safe. In addition, the Kickstarters will have access to the Reed website which hosts a variety of information and downloadable resources to support the unemployed and those looking for new jobs including, Personal Effectiveness and Presenting skills. Reed will also offer the Kickstarter support to seek long term employment through our careers site allowing access to many of the companies we represent. Each Kickstarter will be employed by Reed Staffing Services Ltd as a PAYE Temporary and there will be a team of administrators to manage each placement. Requests for annual leave and reporting sickness will be detailed within our Temporary Handbook which sets out clear guidelines on how this is managed within Reed. Our proposed solution will mirror our existing processes as a Gateway organisation. Each employer will be vetted to ensure they are fit to support a Kickstarter and each Kickstarter will be supported by our expert teams
