1. The job role will require the young person to meet multiple time checkpoints throughout the day as the role requires good communication with other departments within the business (e.g. Order processing). Therefore the warehouse operative will be ensuring the order processing team has all stock required.
2. As we coach and train up the young person to help grow them into their job role they will naturally become more confident. The job role will also develop the young persons teamwork and communication skills as many other job roles will interact and require certain information to help fulfil their role. Together this helps build team cohesion and time keeping skills as for example the warehouse operative job role will need to be in good communication with our dispatch team so they can successfully dispatch all our mail with different couriers at different times throughout the day.
3. The young person will receive all relevant training to the job role. They will be shown each skill multiple times and then will be partnered / shadowed by a more experience team member. As they become more confident within the role, we will introduce and teach more complex tasks. We can provide help with writing and delivering CVs. The 6 month scheme will also improve many skills which can be carried on to future jobs.
