JOB SUMMARY
We are currently looking for a bright and talented graduate with sales and marketing experience to join our innovative team at Saffron Interactive. This pivotal role includes the following responsibilities and duties:
Securing new meetings with buyers of learning in FTSE 250 companies and equivalents
Ensuring a continual pipeline of meetings for the Sales team by achieving your weekly KPIs
Dealing with warm leads including web enquiries and inbound calls
Understanding client requirements and being alert to new business opportunities
Assisting in the successful articulation of business requirements, and creatively and persuasively writing solutions that meet those requirements
Arranging business meetings
Monitoring daily tender opportunities & portal notifications
Maintaining the company’s sales information system
Writing content for social media, press releases and submissions for industry awards
Creating digital content including blogs, articles and whitepapers
Planning and delivering multi-channel campaigns and events
Using social media to promote campaigns, get inbound leads and build connections
Using SEO and understanding how to attract website visitors, qualification of opportunities and maintaining the website and analysing visitor data to inform campaigns
Event organisation

This role will be remote working, though occasional travel to our office in Central London and elsewhere may be required.

SKILLS NEEDED
You will be focused and self-motivated with a natural ability to build rapport and relationships through face to face, phone or through social media and the ability to write strategically and creatively with an understanding of large corporate business environments. Previous experience of meeting targets is desirable.

Qualifications and skills
2:1 or above in any degree
An excellent telephone manner and command of oral and written English
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
Self-starter with a desire for early responsibility
A passion to learn and develop professionally
A creative and persuasive verbal and written communicator with an eye for detail and accuracy
Strong IT literacy; Microsoft Office suite, WordPress, Google analytics, Hootsuite
Some sales, account management, marketing, bid writing or business development experience is preferred

You should have a CV and demonstrable experience (e.g. examples of written work) that show your passion and ability.

WORKING HOURS
08.30 am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

HOURLY RATE
£22,000 to £24,000 per annum + commissions

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
The individual will be a team member. They participate in group meetings, project chats, department strategy meetings etc. All work will be peer and mentor reviewed and feedback given to improve competency and communication skills. Teamwork is integral to client projects as there are many different skillsets assigned to each project.

We’re learning specialists so creating a safe environment for learners to develop is our DNA. A mentor will support them through a four-week induction process which can be extended. During their employment they will have access to the company’s courses on our learning management system. A mentor will formally meet daily in the induction period and then weekly until the person is independent enough to work on their own. After induction they will have reference to a skills matrix, quarterly development reviews, quarterly goals, get regular feedback on milestones in projects and take up learning courses to develop their skills. One day of self-development per quarter to attend industry events, seminars, or external training sessions is also encouraged. We also facilitate monthly team meetings to exchanges tips and ideas.

As digital learning is a sought after skill, there are various roles in this industry but also relatable roles in graphic design, marketing, project management and development. The individual could then further their career in any related role. Also, they will be able to interact with clients, gain commercial and business skills, financial skills when billing, manage negotiations, learn general project management skills and client service standards
