PowReady is a London-based growth stage technology start-up operating in the smart consumer technology space. They have developed a connected network of portable charging hubs that allows users to charge their devices when and where they want, with full mobility, while also helping businesses increase footfall, dwell time and marketing. With a presence in a number of European countries, PowReady’s goal is to becoming the largest power-on-demand provider across the UK and Europe.
PowReady are seeking motivated and entrepreneurial individuals with prior experience in sales or hospitality to help grow and scale the business in London and the rest of the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for those interested in sales and the tech start-up environment to work closely with the founding team in a high-growth sector. The role includes real career progression for high performers and a results-driven commission structure.

PowReady work with venues of all sizes to host their charging hubs, and bring about benefits for the business. The Sales Executive – Food & Beverage role is focused on this activity - growing the size of the network and managing the business relationships with partner restaurants, pubs and bars. As a member of a start-up in an exciting and growing space, you will receive exposure to other parts of the business as it grows.


Responsibilities include:
Lead generation of potential pub, bar, restaurant and club partner venues within London
Online, phone and in-person venue outreach
Sales agreement and close
B2B relationship management with partner businesses in the Food & Beverage, hospitality and nightlife industries
Managing and maintaining a clear view of your partner relationships
Communicating effectively with the Head of Sales
Supporting the Head of Sales in strategic planning, sales and marketing activities


The role is a mix of homeworking and in-person outreach to visit business partner locations and conduct lead generation. These venues will be within specific local London areas and postcodes. A face to face interview is required as part of the recruitment process at the company office in Canary Wharf.

SKILLS NEEDED
Demonstrated successful track record in Sales
Strong cold-calling, pitching and door to door sales capabilities
Prior experience in the Food & Beverage, nightlife or hospitality industry
Excellent communication skills (spoken & written)
Autonomous, Confident & Proactive
A determined and resilient mind-set

WORKING HOURS
Monday-Friday (7 hours per day) There is flexibility in the exact hours worked each day as success in this role is results driven and partner business opening hours may vary

HOURLY RATE
National Minimum Wage + Sales Performance Bonus

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
The PowReady team consists of individuals with backgrounds in Start-Ups, Sales, Consulting, Banking and Marketing. As well as structured training, successful candidates will have the opportunity to learn from other parts of the business that interest them.

Successful candidates will work closely with the founding team to set professional and personal achievement goals, operating on a transparent 360-degree feedback model to help develop areas of interest and/or learning opportunities. Formalised review periods will guide and assess achievement against those target goals with dedicated coaching to support and improve skills and employment prospects.

Successful candidates will receive a 2-week induction training to: learn about the business, be on boarded to the sales process & technology, sales role-plays, case studies and shadowing. This is to ensure that they are fully ready for the responsibilities of the role.
The founding team has the background to cover core training needs in many areas of business and employment. Successful candidates have some flexibility to express an interest in training on specific topics that the team can include as additional training and coaching.

Beyond the day-to-day role experience, successful candidates will receive CV coaching, interview practice, industry insights and formal and informal advice on future job prospects and opportunities.
