JOB SUMMARY
R&B Stone Services are recruiting for 3 part-time Showroom Assistants to work with us in our Design Showroom. We specialise in high-quality stonework for commercial, residential, landscaping and residential projects.

We will provide the training on our products and services for you to become knowledgeable about our service from enquiry to installation and we may look to extend contracts for the right individuals.

Can work well under pressure but is also full of initiative to keep occupied at quiet times

Good time-keeping
Good Computer Skills (including being a proficient user of Google Docs, Google Sheets and Email)
A warm, welcoming and helpful personality

Main Duties:

(All necessary training will be provided)
Meet and greet of customers entering our showroom
Build a knowledge of our product and be able to present this knowledge to customers
Prepare customer paperwork - Process sales - Review project details with customers (provided by your Team Leader/Manager)
Capturing customer lead information
Calendar management
Dealing with new enquiries (Inbound/Outbound calls and emails)
Logging potential sales on Database (Hubspot CRM)
Keeping the showroom generally tidy
Making sure covid-19 guidelines are adhered to (where and when this is required)
Preparing drinks for customers

SKILLS NEEDED
The Ideal individual should have a good grasp of calendar management, phone call management, email management, and be a people’s person.

WORKING HOURS
Offering some flexibility on employment but likely to be Mon - Saturday between hours of 9-5pm.

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
All our Kickstart placement holders will participate in a high-quality Employability eCourse delivered by NP Training & Consultancy Services Ltd (www.nptraining.co.uk).

The NP Training & Consultancy Services Ltd team has extensive experience of designing and delivering inspirational and transformative employability programmes for clients, including the Department for Work & Pensions.

The e-course will cover goal setting, workplace behaviour and culture, creating a personal budget, challenges, opportunities and managing expectations in the new economy, understanding the job search process, exploring career options, social media and developing a personal brand, developing and tailoring a CV, writing a cover letter, writing a personal statement and interview skills.

Our Kickstarters will also have access to downloadable templates, crib sheets, external resources and more. In addition to the NP e-course, we will have a dedicated mentor who will meet with the Kickstarters once a week for 1-2 hours to assist them with their e-course, check if they are on track with everything, guide them with their CV and business knowledge, prep. them for future interviews, and more. This support will be provided throughout the placement.
