JOB SUMMARY
Merkur Slots UK are looking to recruit a Team Member to ensure day-to-day operation of a licensed gaming centre, candidates will be given full training and will be working as part of a experienced team.
Duties will involve

Ensuring company operating standards are adhered to;
Cash handling and serving refreshments to customers.

Marketing / promotional activities / events are delivered correctly to the customer;

Excellent customer relations are built and maintained;

Ensuring the company cleanliness standards are carried out. Housekeeping/ cleaning duties throughout the premises including the gaming equipment.

Will also be trained in the maintenance of the gaming machines.
Training on how to maintain physical and personal security is given and well as how to assess and monitor potential risks on the floor.

SKILLS NEEDED
• Ability to follow rules and instruction;

• Ability to work within a team;

• Ability to communicate effectively;

• Must be 18 years or over (due to gambling legislation).

WORKING HOURS
Tuesday & Wednesday 9am to 2pm, Thursday 2pm to 7pm, Friday & Saturday 7pm to Midnight

HOURLY RATE
Venues within M25 area £9.19 per hour Other venues £8.99 per hour

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
What support will be offered:

We will support workplace exposure including: Time keeping, attendance, communication, team working, customer service, food hygiene. We will also provide sessions to develop CVs, prepare for interviews and hold a practice interview.

Adam Butler will provide the following:
A video on ‘How to Make the Most of Your New Job’.
Monthly ‘Q&A Webinars’ which take place on the first Tuesday of every month.
Access to a ‘Five Steps to Work’ online video course that will help you progress into full-time employment.

When support will be provided:
Induction at start with training throughout placement, with 4-8-12 week reviews; then quarterly reviews. CV development half-way through placement.
Preparation for interview via training provider in latter part of placement.
Practice interview – final 2 weeks of placement.

How many hours it will take:
Induction training is based on progression of the individual, but training is at least 30 hours. In addition, there will be CV sessions via on line portal. Preparation for interview will be 1.5 hours pw for 4 weeks. Practice interview will be 1.5 hours in final 2 weeks of placement.

Who will provide the support:
Our Venue Managers will complete 4-8-12 reviews with placements as they would with existing team’s members, offering suggestions on how to improve: Attendance and Timekeeping, Customer Service, Interaction with colleagues, Communication.

How support will be monitored:
4-8-12 week reviews, coaching and support from line managers.

How the participant can provide feedback:
During 4-8-12 week reviews or through line managers.
