We are a Holistic Herbal Health Campaign, specialising in the Commonwealth/Afro-Carribbean community, featuring “Mariandina” products, Holistic, Herbal Health remedies. We have a strong International presence with good ties to all 53 Commonwealth countries. Our brand, Mariandina, is already well-known Internationally. It is our intention to enhance the brand within the UK, including sales abroad. Our mission is to enhance health and nutrition throughout the UK and Afro-Caribbean countries.

Training will be given in Marketing and Sales, with the opportunity of relevant day-release for College or Further Education. Candidates will be helped to sell our products to Health Shops by phone, covering area by area, followed by delivering the product (very light-weight) to ensure good display with promotional stand, leaflets, etc., establishing good rapport with shop owner/staff, for on-going sales.

There will be interactive meetings with staff to help form agenda, working initiatives and guidance, telephone manner, etc. Due to Covid restrictions they will partially work from home by telephone, followed by pre-arranged visits to Health Shops. Covering various areas within Greater London.

The candidate will learn persuasive skills, negotiation skills, communication skills, teamworking, multitasking skills.

Candidate should be good at reading, writing and arithmetic, should have good communication skills to converse over the telephone
The candidate should have the diligence in carrying out and recording daily tasks
Candidates with pleasant mannerism would be preferred
Candidates should be willing to learn

10am-5pm x 4 days per week

We will also provide support for long term employment. We will provide the following support:

Mentoring: We will provide mentoring support to the candidate during the placement period. We will aim to support the candidate in becoming successful during the placement and in preparing them for future opportunities. (Throughout the placement)

Career Guidance: Based on the feedback over the placement period, our recruitment consultant will help the young candidate identify suitable career paths for them. Our team will work with an expert in guiding the candidate. Once the candidate identifies a suitable path, the support team will guide on methods to find suitable roles through various job portals. They will also guide them to build the candidate’s profile on these platforms and suggest ways it can look more appealing and attractive. (Month four and five of placement)

Mock Interviews: Our recruitment consultant will conduct a mock interview session with the trainee towards the end of placement to prepare them for future job opportunities. The mock interview will be followed by useful feedback for improvement. A recruitment consultant will carry out the mock interview via video meetings or in-person if circumstances are favourable. (Month five of placement)

CV Review: The recruitment consultant will work closely to review the candidate’s CV and provide useful feedback. (Month five of placement)

The employability support would be provided online and the schedule would be shared with the candidates.
