These new roles will be interacting directly with our customers and assisting the Operational team to make each visit a WOW experience for everyone. As our business develops and the expectation to deliver exceptional service and tailored experiences increases, we are looking for someone to help to ensure we get all the little details just right, so that everyone feels extra special on their visit. This is a great opportunity to learn how to interact with customers face to face, learn how to deliver WOW customer service, and make a positive change to a customer’s day.
Enhance Customer Visit
Engaging with customers and actively listening to their requirements. Interacting with customers and identifying opportunities for a WOW moment. Monitoring the play-frame to ensure safe usage. Dealing efficiently with customer problems when they arise and turn the problem into a positive experience for the customer. Assisting customers with unique needs or requests.
Serving on tills and ensuring customer orders are processed correctly.
Welcoming customers to the building, checking them in and taking full details to ensure everyone has a safe experience.
Serving food and drinks to customer’s tables
Maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for families to play.
Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for someone who is great with people, confident in dealing with customer’s questions and who will genuinely care about them.
Someone who has high standards and displays pride in what they do and cares that everyone has a wonderful experience, every visit.
As well as our usual induction and training which includes manual handling, COSHH, Food Hygiene certification and skills trained for the job by their Line Manager. We will offer a modular training program for all Kickstart employees run by our experienced management team consisting of 6 modules.
Modules would take place once a month & include training in
Customer Service & Customer Experience
Health & Safety including Food Hygiene & allergies
The Importance of Time keeping and Team-working
Setting Goals & how to achieve them.
Confidently communicating and dealing with conflict.
CV writing and interview skills

Shifts on a rota basis
ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
The employee will be assigned a careers coach to work with them before, during and after the placement and to act as a mentor. We will be offering training including: Time-keeping, Attendance, Teamwork, Communication, Remote Working, Confidence and assertiveness in the workplace. The specific employability courses that will be co-ordinated by their careers coach are: Job searching, CV Writing, Interview Techniques, Setting Career Goals, Developing transferable skills.
We are also encouraging online or virtual training courses on transferable skills, from a vast range we’ve managed to source through partners. We will be signposting to free accredited courses. We’ll be offering activities on taking on big challenges, goal-setting, resilience, attitude, growth mind-set, determination, persistence, mental toughness, preparation and how to use the programme as a springboard for their future career and life, helping the employees to significantly increase their chances of making the programme a success. Activities will include talks, guidance, webinars from sports stars, prominent speakers, authors and psychologists. We hope the employees will move to a permanent role at the end of the placement. If they do not, they will have been equipped with improved skills, experience and confidence when returning to the jobs market. Employees will collate this onto a CV and LinkedIn profile in a portfolio format so that they can evidence the new skills, experiences, qualifications and training that they’ve been given. They will be presented with a Kickstart certificate from us to reward them for their successful participation training at completion of their six months.
