Would you like to work in a catering role?
We will support you to help with delivery of food and drinks in school. You will work with the team to plan menus, prepare and provide food to staff and pupils. You will also help ensuring catering areas are tidy and clean. All the training you need will is provided – you just need to bring enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Sandilands Community Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. You will be fully trained to understand how to achieve this.
We will apply for an enhanced DBS check for you (All fees are paid for by us.).

As you will be working as part of a team you need to be a good communicator, with a willingness to learn and good organisation skills. An interest in working in a school, or in catering is important.
ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
As part of this position, you will have access to an employability training offer which will provide a robust and high-quality programme boosting your work and employability skills. This will be provided by Premier Advisory Group (PAG).
PAG’s offer is designed in three complementary modules, which will empower you with the appropriate skills to enter the job market with more confidence. Our employability training offer consists of three core modules: Readiness to Work, Introducing Employability Skills and Developing Employability Skills.
The first two modules, which include sessions on CV writing, interview and job search support and an ICT refresher course, will equip you with the basis for improved employability across any role in any sector. The third module will enable you to further develop key employability skills, such as professional writing, critical thinking and communication skills. You will also be encouraged to start planning the future steps of your career.
Sandilands Community Primary School will also offer meetings with the members of staff, including the phase leader, and the possibility to shadow members of staff, in order to support specific areas of improvement.
