JOB SUMMARY
Responsible as part of a team to repalletize damages, rework through factory and rip and tip material for rework. Other general cleaning activities such as use of a baling machine and picking are included.

Following training will be given:

The principles of manual handling
Fire marshal
Emergency first aid at work

SKILLS NEEDED

Good timekeeping
Wiliness to work outside in all weathers
On the job training to be provided

WORKING HOURS
7.00am -6.00pm Monday -Friday

HOURLY RATE
NMW depending upon age of participant

ADDITIONAL EMPLOYABILITY SUPPORT
Knowsley Works will provide a high-quality wrap around employment support service throughout the duration of the 6-month placement, including the following as a minimum:
The participant will be issued with an employability workbook from their Knowsley Works Mentor from their first day in employment with their Kickstart employer. This will set a series of goals for them to work towards on their Kickstart placement and reviewed on a monthly basis with their Knowsley Works mentor and manager. The workbook sets out goals, expectations in the workplace and provides the opportunity to document their learning and development throughout the 6 month placement, what skills they have developed and what goals they are working towards.
The participant will also receive Intensive jobsearch support from month 4 of the placement to look for long-term work, including career advice and setting goals if no sustainable job at the end of the placement
They will receive support with creating and updating their CV and covering letter, interview preparations, including mock interviews

They will also receive support with general employability skills, eg, timekeeping and teamwork, problem solving, organisation, health & safety and commercial awareness as part of scheduled monthly training via online learning, face to face or over the telephone. This learning will take place whilst the participant is in the workplace, they will be allocated time to attend any sessions or if possible on the employers premises ( depending upon Covid restrrictions)
