Express Recruitment Limited
We are looking for a bright, personable and welcoming Receptionist to start a short training programme ready for when our office reopens to the public (NG1 2NS). This person will be responsible for manning the Main Reception area from Monday to Friday 8:45-5:15, greeting candidates and clients via the video intercom, signposting them elsewhere if we are unable to see them (or if they are looking for a work type that we do not offer).
Once candidates are welcomed to the building this person will scan a copy of their ID documents and assist them in completing the DigiSign GDPR documents, and provide them with an application form to complete in reception (training will be providing). They will also then take them to an empty meeting desk ready for the consultant to conduct their interview.
Aside from meet and greet this person will also be responsible for general facilities such as; restocking the communal kitchen, toilets and break rooms (loo roll, blue roll, soap dispensers, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, clean towels), ensuring the gangways and shared areas are kept tidy, watering the plants, ensuring staff and visitors have everything they need, collecting coffees and making hot drinks for clients, working to an opening and close down checklist, running errands for the directors and assisting with general administration (typing CVs, interview confirmations, standard letters).
This person will also be trained on our switchboard and will be answering 60-75% of inbound telephone calls and transferring to the relevant person.
We are more than happy to provide full training for the successful candidate, however we do require the candidate to have the equivalent of minimum grade C or higher in GCSE English as some of the admin work for the consultants can involve complex terminology or language. This role is perfect for a young person starting out in their career, but it is essential for this person to be confident to communicate via telephone and in person at all levels. Candidates must also be happy to wear corporate office attire and present themselves in a professional manner as they will be in a front of house environment.
Monday to Friday, 8:45am-5:15pm (1 hour for lunch
National Minimum Wage (we will be happy to consider a salary review after 3 months)
